Jeffery loved the "free ride" at the airport.
My husband and I woke up to a horrible stench around 5am this morning. Skunk! We had the windows open because It was so warm last night. The smell was horrible. We shut the windows but it kinda felt like we just trapped ourselves in the horrible stench.
Then around 5:40am I woke back up thinking my husband was running in his sleep again because our bed was shaking. Nope he was awake also and the bathroom mirror was shaking. What on earth, is it that windy outside? Nope no wind so what was that? My husband said he thought we just had an earthquake. Me being the forever naysayer said not in Michigan! Our alarm goes off at 6am and the radio comes on. You aren't going to believe it... They were reporting an earthquake in Illinois and there was rumors of it being felt as far Rockford and Grand Rapids. I am here to tell you it isn't a rumor we felt it! Crazy!
Anna told Libby that Jeffery had a difficult airplane ride to Arizona.Today I finally mailed out our letters that Anna wrote for our trip to Haiti this summer. Please pray for a good response to these letters. I know it is God's will and therefore everything will work out but my earthly nature worries about where the money is coming from.

Hello,
Exciting things are happening here in the Hill household. My mother, my brother, and I are going on a mission trip to Haiti this summer with a group from our church. We will be there for 9 days starting on July 19 and ending July 27.
I had wanted to go so I prayed about it, my mom did too. When we decided to go Zack wanted to go also but at the time the dates were for the first week of August and that would be the week football practice started up. When he figured out he wouldn’t be able to go along he was bummed, but then the dates changed because there were no plane tickets available for the first week of August. That was perfect for Zack to be able to come along with us.
We are going down there to run a VBS, Vacation Bible School, in different cities.
A few years ago our family chose to sponsor a little girl from Barbancourt, Haiti. We found out that we might get to meet her when we go because we will be doing a VBS in that city. It will be very exciting!
Please consider supporting us for our mission trip to Haiti through prayer and financially. We need to raise $3000 by June 1st. We also know what God does when His people pray. We covet your prayers.
One more exciting fact about this trip is my Grandmother, Judy Van Dam, has agreed to go with us to Haiti also.

The chair came from a friend of ours who owns a business that makes these chairs and this one was a prototype that had been through testing and Anna asked if they were going to dump it could she have it for her bedroom. Since it was used for testing it didn't have any of the seat cushions on it.
I think she will be surprised because I didn't even tell her that I was thinking about doing this. I had picked up the foam earlier this week and the fabric is from my "stash" that I already had. I am a fabric junkie and not afraid to admit it.
I need some help!
