My poor Libby got the bad teeth for all 4 kids. She is the only one who struggles with cavities. Only one of the other three kids has a cavity and he only has one. Libby on the other hand has many "silver stars" in her mouth. She has even had one molar pulled because the filling would be too big. You know it's bad when your child looks forward to the dentist because she gets to wear the "clown nose". All of her cavities are in baby teeth so far. I just keep praying that when her permanent teeth come in they are less prone to captivities which the dentist tells me is very possible.

Some kids have no luck.

Arianna's in the same boat. She has terrible teeth and has to get one pulled next week.
I'm hoping her permanent teeth are better too.
Poor Libby! I hate going to the dentist - at least she doesn't seem to mind it. I've never had a clown nose though!
I am no fan of the dentist! In fact, I'm a little older than Libby and I still like the 'clown nose'!
That sounds like my childhood. I was told that no matter how much I brushed my teeth, I would still get cavities because the grooves in my teeth are so deep. The dentist finally put sealants in my permanent teeth, just so I would stop getting so many cavities. I feel for Libby.
I had the "clown nose" not too long ago. Nice, real nice!
Hugs!

Our oldest has the bad teeth syndrome. Doesn't matter how much he brushes or flosses. Thankfully he's not had any teeth pulled or mention of braces. Glad she has a positive outlook on visiting the dentist! Youngest has worn Bubba teeth before just to get a laugh. Might as well have fun as long as you have to go!
My Ellie is the same. The dentist has put her on a "high risk" category and given us prescription strength mouthwash. Poor kid ... four cavities in one year. All baby teeth, but still no fun.
